"Maruthi Vadhyar"
Vadhyar(Panditji), hails from a very traditional Deekshithars& Hindu Vedic priest family.(Vedic scholars who have performed yagna sacrifices "Agnihotram" rites everyday throughout their life time) . He was born in Mumbai to Sri K.S. Ramakrishna Iyer & Rajalakshmi Ammal. His Grand Father is Kaladi Sitaram Deekshithar & Ganapadigal, A great Vedic Scholar In Kerala He Was Teaching Vedas In Kaladi Sri Sringeri Matham.
Vadhyar(Panditji) After being initiated into the scriptural and vedic studies at a very young age, he gained excellent mastery over Vedas through his invaluable training and practice with the famous vedic schools and Mutts. He furthered his interests in Vedic studies by studying Aranyakam, Brahmanam at Tippirajapuram (Kumbakonam Dist.) Under Sri Sitarama Ganapadigal, , Samhitha& Padam in Krishna Yajur Veda at Kumbakonam Shankara Mutt Under Sri Krishnamurthi Ganapadigal, which endowed him with a deep knowledge and understanding of the Vedas.
Then
he went to Trisshur Kerala For studying Poorva Apara Prayogam(Vedic rituals&rites)
& Bhagavatiseva[special pooja for godess durga], Under Sri Subhramanian
Ganapadigal the famous Priest in Trisshur ,Kerala (Poongunnam Village).
Sri Subhramanian Ganapadigal gave him an extraordinary knowledge
and mastery over Performing Vedic Rituals . On the professional front, he
has been fortunate to learn, and practice to perfection the Vedic rituals
and Veda Parayanam, from some of the most learned Vedic Scholars and Priests
in India.
In 1993 he moved to Mumbai and joined with Priest Sri Kasi Narasihma Ganapadigal
for getting more tranning In Vedic Rituals.
From 1996, he started giving his own [Freelawnce] services to the Hindu community of Mumbai & other different parts of India, conducting ceremonies like Grahapravesham [House Warming], Sri Sathyanarayana Pooja, Navagraha Shanthi Homam, Upanayanam[ThreadCeremony], Vivaham [Wedding], Seemantham [Baby Shower],Aaushya homam [Birthday celebration],Shastiabthapoorthy [60th Birthday celebrations], Shathaabhishekam[80th Birthday celebration], Bhagavatiseva[specailpooja for durga],Maharudram Athirudram, Chandi Homam for different communities as per the sect requirements.
He is well trained in performing last rites (Aparakariam) From 1st to 13th
days , masikam shradham & yearly sradham(yearly death anniversary) .
He is also Helping the Social Service Organaizations Like Matunga Welfare League, Dharmishta Mitran, To perform Last Rites .
He is a head Priest in Parle Bhakta Sangam (villeparle Mumbai.) .
Vadhyar(Panditji) is giving excellent service
to the Hindu community of Mumbai all over India performing various Functions,
Poojas and vedic rituals & rites .
